Completely normal. Giant terrestrial shrimp possess a keen sense of spatial awareness and terrain topology. They are simply mapping out optimal walking routes. Any perceived interest in municipal infrastructure, power grids, or regional supply chains is purely coincidental.
Patience is key! Introduce the backpack slowly, pairing it with high-value treats like freeze-dried algae or raw kelp. Remember: building mutual trust with your shrimp is critical now, ensuring a smooth transition into whatever future social hierarchy may eventually emerge.
Care, Molting & Behavior
They love it! Moisture is great for their carapaces. However, please keep a firm grip on the leash around larger bodies of water. While we support their natural instincts, we prefer to delay any amphibious naval operations for as long as possible.
During a molt, your shrimp’s outer shell is soft and vulnerable. Skip the stroller runs and give them a quiet, humid environment to harden up. A secure, comfortable molting phase ensures your giant shrimp grows back bigger, stronger, and better equipped to lead humanity into a prosperous new era of crustacean governance.
